Second swap on its way and

more swapping for the year just so I dont get bored.
But before all that I have to apologise to Cheryll and my swap partner because my parcel did not get posted when I said it did.  I gave it to husbeast on Sunday night to put in the parcel post box he passes twice a day on his way to and from work.  Guess who forgot all about it until I gave him the second one to post last night.  So the first one got repacked into an express post satchel and I know it will be there before the 14th now as I personally put them both in the mail boxes.
Sheesh!  I could have moiderated him but good.  This being said in my best Brooklyn USA accent.
Any way I do have pics of the wrapped gifts.  Lot #1 for Cheryll's Initial Heart swap.  I think it smells divine.
and for Sandy's Valentines swap.
I love the ribbon. Red with gold and pink with silver. Will have to go back and get some more they didnt have a lot left.
So onto much better things than forgetful men.  Grrrrrrr!!!!!!!!
I have signed up for Karen Martins Lets Celebrate swap this year (sorry it is closed now) and it is a year long swap celebrating all sorts of things through the year.  Already have a few ideas, need some more info from my partner but also keeping in mind that I am trying new things this year.  This is going to be so much fun.

Am also seriously considering signing up for Cheryll's St Patrick's day mini quilt swap.  After all green is my favourite colour.  Go HERE to check out the details.
I want to try out a 'new to me' technique first to see if it will work for my idea, so that I will have enough time to get it finished before it needs to be sent off.  This year is about having fun and no stress so if it doesnt work for this it might work for something else and I wont worry about it.  Need to make a quick dash to Spotlight for some new textile medium.  My old one is kinda dried up and useless.  Pencils, fabric, threads and something new.
I am also working on something that is an absolute she has no idea secret.  This one is also full of love.
Have fun doing what ever you are doing.  I am.

  3. What a lot of swappy fun! Poor Husbeast, he'll never forget to post a parcel again. Your wrapping is so lovely, almost too pretty to unwrap. Have fun playing with your ideas, and secret sewing.
