Santa Sack Swap

This is the second time I have participated in the Santa Sack Swap organised by Cheryll of Gone Stitchin' .
I will if all goes well do this swap again next year.
This time around was an awesome swap with a very talented artist by the name of Lisa Lee from My Carnival of Colours.
Lisa sent me a whole heap of fabric from Tula Pink called Nightshade.  It is gorgeous and I will have to find just the right pattern to show it off.  There is also some fabric from the Grinch collection, same range as the Santa bag she made me which I love to bits.  And then there is the cutest umbrella fabric.  All sorts of ideas for this  piece. Dont know where she got the idea that I am a fabric junkie - lol.
There is also a blank journal for me to play in, a couple of patterns to play with and a couple of the cutest aqua birds that will keep me company.  Also a couple of books, both of which have bookmarks already for stuff I want to make now.
But the best gifts of all are the hand made by Lisa Lee mixed media art pieces.  I have wanted to lay my hands on a piece of her work from the first time I found her first blog forever ago.  Oh and she wrapped them in the awesomest wrapping paper.  I know it wont be to every bodies taste but I love it and have salvaged as much of it as I can.
Lots and lots and lots of photos now.  I am not responsible for the taking of these, husband did it whilst I squealed and bounced in my chair like a little kid.  This has been one of the best Christmases ever!

This is one of the coolest fabric ranges out there for those who are not into girly stuff.  Take a look at the selvage.  Skull and crossed bones.  If you want to read about the range go here Tula Pink  (click on Tula Pink)  I really got to get me some more of this.

I will have to get a better pic of the wrapping paper.  It really is so cool.
I also want to show you pics of our pretty, funky tree.
Have fun doing what ever you are doing.
